Role: Content Creation & Design Assistant
Contract: Full-time Remote Contractor (40 hours weekly / 160 hours monthly)
Business Hours: Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM EST (service hours are flexible during this time)
Rate: $10 - $15 hourly / $1,600 - $2,400 monthly (salary is negotiable based on experience and location)

What You'll Do
As a Content Creation & Design Assistant, you'll help shape and elevate the company's brand through compelling visuals across digital platforms. You'll curate high-quality photo assets, design graphics for social media and marketing, and support the rollout of the monthly content calendar. Your responsibilities will include:
Content Design & Creation:
- Design eye-catching, on-brand visuals for social posts, ads, website, and blog using Canva and tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, or Lightroom.
- Create and edit short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels to boost brand storytelling and reach.
- Plan, develop, and execute the monthly content calendar, including strategy, scheduling, asset development, publishing, and post-launch tracking.
- Adapt content formats and styles to fit each platform's audience and trends.
Visual Asset Management:
- Select and manage high-quality photo assets for marketing channels, keeping visuals fresh, brand-aligned, and platform-optimized.
- Maintain well-organized digital files and folders of a curated library of images and graphics that reflect the brand's aesthetic and brand identity across all channels for easy team access.
Engagement & Growth Support:
- Develop a deep understanding of the brand's visual identity, going beyond just posting but also grasping the nuances of each platform's audience, content formats, and trends to maximize engagement and growth, becoming the brand's visual storyteller.
- Keep up with trends in photography, design, and social media to keep content relevant and engaging.
- Track and analyze social media metrics to refine content strategies and support growth.
What You Should Have
Must-haves:
- At least four years of experience in Content Creation, Visual Design, or Social Media Marketing.
- At least one year of experience working remotely with clients/companies from the US, UK, CA, and/or AU.
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Canva; working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, or Lightroom.
- Familiarity with Monday.com or similar tools for planning and collaboration.
- Experience managing cloud storage (Google Drive, Dropbox) and keeping files organized.
- Hands-on experience managing Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and similar platforms.
- A keen aesthetic eye for photography and visual assets: You must possess an innate ability to identify photos that perfectly reflect the brand's unique style and narrative.
- A genuine passion for visual content, constantly exploring new trends and innovative ways to tell compelling brand stories through imagery and video.
- Ability to rapidly learn and internalize the brand's visual language, consistently produce high-quality, on-brand content.
- Ability to significantly improve and iterate upon the existing visual assets, demonstrating a strong facility for graphic design.
- Ability to produce near-final designs with minimal need for rework.
- Strong time management, clear communication, attention to detail, and openness to feedback.
