Job Title: Social Media Manager for the Internal Virtual Latinos Team.
Pay Rate: $2080 - $2250
*The monthly salary range posted is stipulated as an average monthly income. However, all jobs at Virtual Latinos are hourly-based, and payments are calculated on the number of hours a person works daily. We pay our Virtual Professionals every 2 weeks through third-party platforms. The hourly rate range of the position is $12-13 USD per hour, depending on experience. Once a rate has been offered to you, it is non-negotiable.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9-hour shift with a 1-hour lunch break. The entire shift should fall between 7 am- 4 pm PST, preferred.

Job Summary: The Social Media Manager leads our social media team toward innovative heights. This role crafts compelling social media campaigns, enjoys the challenge of guerrilla marketing, and excels in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The social media manager has a proven track record in managing key social media platforms, driving engagement, and growing organically online communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy, Campaign Execution & Project Management
- Develop, schedule, and execute with content creators a content calendar that aligns with marketing goals and resonates with the community.
- Own and manage the social media content calendar, integrating campaigns, launches, business as usual content, and special dates in collaboration with internal teams.
- Lead the adaptation of creative concepts into platform-specific strategies, defining asset needs, ensuring optimized captions, and guiding execution across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Lead active collaboration with internal departments to ensure the effective execution of campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Content Creative Team to shape campaign ideas, ensuring they leverage platform trends and meet performance objectives.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Understand data insights and turn them into content improvements, influencing the content calendar and future campaigns. Track and analyze platform performance (engagement, reach, follower growth, CTR) to identify trends and optimize content.
Deliver reports with actionable insights:
- Content Performance Weekly Report: Gather performance metrics on each channel (engagement, reach, CTR, etc.) and identify top-performing posts and why they worked, as well as the underperforming content with improvement suggestions.
- Monthly report: Compile a detailed report summarizing key metrics, top-performing content, and overall account performance for the month. Also, gather audience insights: Demographics, Growth trends (active hours, content preferences), and recurring comments. Special eyes on a comparison between what type of followers we are getting Vs what we are targeting.
- Quarterly review: Conduct an in-depth analysis every quarter to evaluate competitor social performance (followers, engagement) and content trends among competitors. Gaps or opportunities for our brand to leverage.
- Audience Insights (Monthly): Gather audience insights: Demographics, Growth trends (active hours, content preferences) and recurring comments. Special eyes on a comparison between what type of follower we are getting Vs what we are targeting.
- Social Listening (Bi-weekly): Conduct Social Listening. Perform bi-weekly analysis of trending topics, competitor activity and relevant hashtags.
Community Engagement and Account Management
Responsible for crafting brand-aligned responses in accounts to enhance engagement with VAs and clients, ensuring clear, direct, and effective communication.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and develop the social media team, fostering creativity, accountability, and performance excellence.
- Work together with the Social Media and Creative teams to ensure content and engagement are seamlessly aligned.
- Collaborate with designers and content creators to ensure all content is brand-aligned, platform-optimized, and visually engaging.
- Manage team resources and calendars, ensuring efficient execution of the content calendar and campaign timelines.
Required Skills:
- Bilingual(English & Spanish)
- HubSpot Expertise: for note-taking, CRM updates, and researching user profiles to deliver personalized responses.
- Experience managing and growing platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube and the ability to integrate innovative guerrilla marketing tactics to maximize reach and engagement across platforms.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Strong analytical skills to interpret data and optimize engagement strategies.
- Crisis Management & Problem-Solving: Skilled in navigating sensitive situations diplomatically and effectively.
