As our Lead Software Engineer, you'll help shape the technical foundation of the company—from architecture and product decisions to building features that thousands of people will use to form meaningful relationships.

What you'll be working on:

• Architecting and scaling a consumer-facing mobile platform from the ground up.
• Building secure, scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Designing systems that support curated introductions, real-time messaging and intelligent matching workflows.
• Driving engineering best practices, performance and code quality.
• Collaborating closely with product and design to turn ideas into delightful user experiences.
• Making key technology decisions that will shape the platform as we scale across cities and eventually globally.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience building and scaling consumer products.
• Thinks beyond implementation and enjoys solving product problems.
• Writes clean, maintainable and scalable code.
• Is comfortable owning architecture, shipping features and making technical decisions.
• Enjoys the pace, ownership and ambiguity of an early-stage startup.
