Position Overview
The Digital Marketing & Analytics Specialist assists in the planning, execution, and optimization of email marketing campaigns within the Marketing Technology group. Responsibilities include formatting engaging digests and alerts, publishing content to the external website, and managing event invitations and registration workflows. This position collaborates closely with Business Development, Creative, Web/Digital, CRM, and other stakeholders at the firm to support initiatives aligned with the firm’s strategic goals.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end process for coordinating, formatting, and distributing e-marketing communications, including client alerts, digest newsletters, external announcements, and event invitations.
  • Partner with the Events and Creative teams to produce branded event communications (e.g., save-the-dates, invitations, reminders) and oversee registration logistics for firm-hosted events such as social gatherings, retreats, CLEs, dinners, and other firm events.
  • Leverage advanced features of the e-marketing platform (Vuture), including form logic, dynamic content, and automated triggers, to enhance event registration and campaign delivery.
  • Coordinate project timelines and approvals, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are informed of progress and next steps.
  • Review submitted content and liaise with the General Counsel’s office to secure necessary approvals.
  • Monitor and analyze email campaign performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversions, subscriptions) to assess engagement and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Design and maintain email templates for internal communications and event invitations; manage template storage in SharePoint.
  • Create and manage subscription forms, including custom forms for white paper downloads and series subscriptions.
  • Administer user access within the e-marketing platform, ensuring appropriate permissions and template availability.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation and process guidelines.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, recommending process enhancements as needed.

Working Conditions

  • Job is performed in a typical office environment, but is subject to time pressures and constraints, and is often dependent on input from others.
  • Occasional overtime may be required.

Qualifications
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Communications or similar discipline preferred. Will accept commensurate experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of five years’ related experience, preferably in a legal, financial or other professional services organization.

Special Knowledge:

  • Ability to interpret data from Google Analytics, email marketing analytics, and other platforms to inform strategy.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient use of PC and MS Office Suite; Newsletter formatting and email distribution tools (Vuture).
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS is required, with the ability to edit and troubleshoot code for email templates and web content.
  • Experience in a CMS (WordPress), SmartSheet and SharePoint a plus.
