About the Role
We're seeking a hands-on Sales and Marketing Manager who thrives as an individual contributor in a dual-capacity role. This is a do-it-yourself position for a self-motivated professional who excels at both closing deals and personally executing the marketing strategies that generate high-quality prospects. You'll be managing a team of zero - just yourself - and we need someone who loves rolling up their sleeves and getting things done.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution (30% of role)
Handle 10-15 qualified sales calls per week
Close deals and nurture prospects through the sales pipeline
Maintain detailed CRM records and sales forecasting
Collaborate with team members to optimize sales processes
Marketing Strategy & Execution (70% of role)
Personally execute comprehensive strategies to increase qualified lead volume
Hands-on design and optimization of sales funnels to maximize conversion rates
Directly manage and scale outbound marketing campaigns across multiple channels
Run PPC campaigns yourself (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn, etc.)
Personally build and manage affiliate and influencer partnership programs
Dive into the data - analyze marketing metrics and ROI to optimize campaign performance
Create and implement lead scoring and qualification frameworks without delegation
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for a "player-coach" mentality - someone who loves being in the trenches doing the work personally rather than delegating to others. You're energized by wearing multiple hats, switching between closing a deal and then immediately diving into campaign optimization. This role is perfect for someone who wants ownership and autonomy without the complexity of team management.
3+ years of experience in sales and marketing roles as an individual contributor
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Self-starter who thrives working independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
Excellent self-management and prioritization skills
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment without team support
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience in one or more areas preferred. Please indicate in your intro letter what relevant experience you’ve had
Strong experience in outbound marketing - cold email, LinkedIn outreach, direct mail campaigns
Funnel optimization expertise - landing pages, email sequences, conversion rate optimization
PPC campaign management - Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads certification pref_erred_
Affiliate and influencer management - experience building and scaling partnership programs
Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot)
Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and social media marketing
Previous experience working in a video editing agency is a plus
