Senior Software Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Senior Software Engineer to join our agile team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the videochatapro.com web and mobile applications. You will work closely with a team to maintain and make changes to our digital marketplace to keep it operational for our growing user base.

Duties

• Design and implement scalable software solutions using modern Ruby on Rails and React Native programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance improvements.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance the development process.
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on technical challenges and career growth.
• Maintain, alter, and add to the back-end data base as needed.

Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• Proficiency in Python, C#, Ruby on Rails, or .NET for application development.
• Experience with Digital Ocean Hosting Servers for deploying to applications.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases for data management.
• Familiarity with version control systems Bitbucket and GitHub for source code management.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs for integrating different software components.
• Proven track record of de-bugging, maintaining, and altering existing software to meet the needs of our growing user base.
• The ability to maintain API's from Stripe, Open Talk Vonage, Google, Firebase, and more.
• The ability to maintain and alter staging environments to suit the next feature to test reliability and functionality to integrate into production.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $132,689.00 - $143,170.00 per year

Compensation Package:

• 1099 contract
• Weekly pay
