Senior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Consultant to join our Professional Services team. The role involves solution implementation, custom development, third-party integration, data loading, and interface configuration. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a fast-paced environment and possess strong technical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in end-to-end implementation of technical solutions as part of the Professional Services team.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Tech Leads, and client teams to design, develop, and test customizations.
• Develop custom applications and enhancements using Java, Oracle, and scripting languages.
• Assist clients with technical aspects of implementations, including hardware/software sizing, deployment strategies, and integration with third-party systems.
• Lead data migration activities: coordinate with clients for data mapping, format validation, loading, and error resolution.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams; mentor junior team members as needed.

Must-Have:

• 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in software development/technical consulting.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and J2EE, with at least 1 year in server-side, real-time, transaction-based development.
• Solid understanding and experience in object-oriented programming.
• Expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience in developing or customizing applications using Java and scripting languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including email and documentation etiquette.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Good-to-Have:

• Exposure to middle-tier programming using Servlets.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML and XML.
• Experience using Eclipse IDE and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
• Experience with system sizing, deployment, and third-party software integration.
• Mentoring experience or ability to guide junior team members.
