We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager, Digital Marketing to join our expanding Veterinary Practice Partners team. This is a pivotal role where you will act as a strategic thought leader and operational powerhouse, driving digital marketing excellence across our portfolio of veterinary hospitals. You will collaborate closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and cross-functional teams to elevate our brand presence and drive sustainable growth.

About Us:
Launched in 2011 and backed by Audax Group, Veterinary Practice Partners LLC (VPP) is a leading provider in the veterinary space and growing fast! As part of our unique model, we form partnerships with veterinarians to own and manage veterinary hospitals, which allows veterinary medicine to stay in the hands of veterinary professionals. Once a partnership is formed, VPP provides infrastructure and leadership for resources such as marketing, financial, operations, and people/talent functions, while the veterinarian leads both the clinical and client services functions. Since we launched, we have grown to more than 160 partner hospitals in over 25 states.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership: Serve as a trusted thought partner to the CMO, identifying and operationalizing the highest value digital marketing levers to achieve business objectives.
- Portfolio Management: Coordinate and optimize digital marketing efforts across our portfolio of veterinary hospitals, ensuring consistent brand messaging and effective campaign execution.
- Agency Management: Management and daily oversight of off-shore VPP digital team supporting websites, SEO and paid online digital advertising
- Business Case Development: Develop robust business cases for digital marketing investments, outlining clear "good-better-best" options and analyzing the trade-offs associated with different strategic paths.
- Performance Measurement: Track, analyze, and report on the impact of digital marketing initiatives, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Team Leadership & Support: Support and collaborate with a team of Marketing Business Partners, addressing the diverse marketing needs of our hospital portfolio.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations and Finance teams to develop a coordinated and integrated approach to driving business growth.
Experience:
- Professional Background: 4-6 years of experience in marketing, consulting, strategy, or business operations, with a strong preference for marketing experience.
- Digital Marketing Acumen: Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing strategies and tactics (e.g., SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing).
- Retail/Services Experience: Experience working in a retail or services-based business environment is highly desirable.
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.1
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles and financial metrics.
- Problem solving: Ability to think critically and come up with creative solutions.
