Title: Communications Specialist for SaaS Product Marketing
Location: 100% Work from home (PST)
Duration: 4 months contract with high possibility of extension
Job Description:
Join the AEC Offering Management and Analytics (OMBA) team, supporting our offering specialists and managers with planning, implementing and creating communications for the launch of new offerings, enhancing existing offerings, and End of Sale (EOS) / End of Renewal (EOR) / End of Life (EOL) projects.
Responsibilities include:
- You’ll be responsible for planning, writing, editing, and distributing communications that support Autodesk’s product lifecycle activities - new product launches, Enhancements to existing offerings
- Communications Plan creation: Work with key project stakeholders to create a communications and enablement plan for projects.
- Content Creation and editing: Work with offering managers and specialists, product marketing and technical product team members to create content for our internal sales teams, partners, customers and support teams on new offerings, enhancements and EOS/EOR/EOL initiatives.
- Content can include announcements in newsletters, FAQs, PowerPoint presentations, email communications to customers, internal team newsletters and project updates. Establish standard templates that can be leveraged for future projects.
- Content Reviews/Tracking: Ensure that content is reviewed by subject matter experts, legal and finance team members. Integrate feedback, proofread and edit content, and send out for final approval from stakeholders.
- Uploading content: Understand the Autodesk processes to publish content. Work with team members to make sure that approved content is uploaded and published on time
- Support Offering Management Team Projects: Attend team meetings, update plan and process documentation as required. Create and send out communications and updates for the Offering Management Team, such as Team newsletters and project updates.
Requirements:
- Experience with creating and writing content for technical products and offerings, updates and other initiatives
- Detailed oriented, with strong editing and proofreading skills
- Self- starter and flexible. Able to change priorities quickly when needed, with the willingness to take on new projects and learn new skills.
- Strong collaborator, who enjoys working on cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- 3+ yrs. experience supporting marketing, PR, product marketing and/or GTM with creating, tracking, and publishing communications content
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook. Some experience with Airtable and Draftr a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Previous experience working at Autodesk or at software company a plus
