About VESPR
VESPR is the leading wallet on Cardano, securing over $400M in assets and processing $30M+ daily in self-custody transactions.
About the role
We’re rebuilding our mobile experience from the ground up and adding Bitcoin support as the first step. We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead how people experience our wallet — from onboarding to confidently managing their assets.
You’ll act as both UI/UX Designer and Product Manager, shaping how the wallet looks, works, and evolves. Early on, your focus will be the redesign: defining requirements, writing documentation, and organizing tickets. Later, you’ll help shape the roadmap and strategy for what’s next.
What You’ll Do
- Redesign our mobile app from the ground up — map user flows, define requirements, and create polished, secure, and human UI/UX.
- Act as both Designer and Product Manager: scope new features, write specs, organize tickets, and ensure the flow from product logic to design delivery is crystal clear.
- Ship mobile-first excellence: fast interactions, meaningful motion, and accessibility by default.
- Own key user journeys end-to-end — onboarding, recovery, send/receive, exchange, and portfolio management.
- Drive the product loop: define problems → prototype and test → ship → measure → iterate.
- Collaborate closely with CEO & Engineering: align scope, review builds, and balance craft with speed.
- Evolve our design system across iOS and Android.
- Contribute to product strategy and roadmap.
- Collaborate with Marketing: visuals for social posts, campaigns, or community swag.
You Have
- 6+ years in product design, with a mobile-first portfolio showing strong UX, UI, and interaction design from concept to execution.
- A proven ability to simplify complex systems — ideally in fintech, payments, or crypto.
- Strong product thinking and awareness of how design impacts user behavior and product outcomes.
- Deep Figma skills and prototyping mastery; comfort with system thinking, motion, and visual hierarchy.
- Excellent UX writing instincts and attention to detail that builds clarity and trust.
- Strong communicator who’s confident across disciplines.
- A bias for clarity, craft, and momentum — you move fast, make clear decisions, and iterate with purpose.
Benefits
- Brand new MacBook / hardware as needed
- $100K stock options over 4 years — we value long-term collaboration
- Software licenses and tools provided
- 28 days paid vacation
