What You Will Be Doing
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers and development teams, ensuring our solutions are aligned with business needs
- Manage and order the Product Backlog using a first-principles approach to design, ensuring focus on core requirements before adding complexity to solutions
- Define project scope and initialization, write clear and actionable requirements, ensure backlog readiness, and facilitate quality checkpoints to ensure sprint readiness and execution
- Provide support and guidance to the development team
- Hold accountability for project quality and delivery
What You Need For This Position
- BS in computer science, math, electrical, mechanical, chemical or related engineering field or relevant experience
- 7-10+ years of experience developing MES, high level enterprise SCADA systems, or similar, preferably in a project based industry.
- Strong understanding of agile development methodology and how to run a project in Scrum format.
- Experience in a Product Owner role or similar capacity, with strong ability to work directly with customers to scope projects, define long term roadmaps, and proactively identify risks
- Ability to ensure alignment with customer objectives, manage expectations, and drive continuous improvement in the product development lifecycle
- Experience with Ignition platform is a huge plus
- Ability to travel up to 20%
