We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to a wide range of B2B2C customer-facing Golf applications. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and technologies, with a primary focus on building custom WordPress plugins and themes. Beyond WordPress, you’ll also collaborate on applications built with Next.js, .NET 8 for mobile development, and Node.js services using NestJS.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins and themes for Golf applications.
Contribute to customer-facing applications built with Next.js and React.
Participate in mobile app development using .NET 8 and related technologies.
Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and NestJS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Adapt quickly to new technologies and project requirements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack software development
Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and design patterns
Extensive experience with PHP and WordPress development.
Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
Hands-on experience with React and Next.js.
Ability to work across multiple technologies and platforms.
A collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with relational and non-relational databases, RabbitMQ
Familiarity with AI tools for coding and configuration
Knowledge of architecture design principles
Experience with GitHub Actions and AWS
Experience developing large-scale, consumer-facing web applications
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Mobile development experience (preferably .NET MAUI)
Knowledge of PCI compliance or other security-critical environments
Comfortable balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term architecture goals

Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-Versant worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.

This position may require up to 10% travel for onsite collaboration and meetings at a Versant office location, based on the needs of the business. The final round of the interview process will be conducted in person. #LI-remote
