Business Growth Director – Account Based Sales & Marketing

We are seeking a Business Growth Director to design and execute our account-based sales and marketing program. This is a hands-on role for a builder—someone who can create precision outreach strategies, work closely with marketing, and run full-cycle sales on key accounts.
The Role
As Business Growth Director, you will lead the ABS/ABM strategy that targets executive-level buyers at public companies. Your focus will be on creating and optimizing campaigns that convert outbound and inbound interest into revenue.
You will:
- Develop and run account-based outreach campaigns on LinkedIn and email.
- Partner with marketing to design multi-channel programs that build awareness and engagement in target accounts.
- Personally manage the sales cycle for select high-value accounts.
- Build campaign playbooks, workflows, and reporting frameworks to measure effectiveness.
- Collaborate with leadership to scale what works into a repeatable system.
Core Responsibilities
Account-Based Sales & Marketing Execution
- Build and manage multi-touch outbound campaigns using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, automation tools (Dux-Soup, Expandi, Waalaxy), and email marketing.
- Work closely with marketing on account-based programs, including messaging, content, and lead nurturing.
- Create tailored outreach for C-suite and IR executives at public companies.
- Track engagement across channels and optimize for conversion.
Sales Engagement & Closing
- Manage full-cycle sales for assigned accounts—from outreach and discovery to proposal and close.
- Work directly with C-level executives and IR professionals.
- Maintain accurate reporting on pipeline and campaign performance.
Program Building & Enablement
- Develop ABS/ABM playbooks, messaging templates, and campaign frameworks.
- Recommend and optimize tools for enrichment, personalization, and reporting.
- Provide insights to leadership on best practices and scaling opportunities.
Required Experience
- 5+ years in B2B sales, business development, or ABM/ABS, preferably in SaaS, AI, or technology for regulated industries.
- Proven success running account-based sales campaigns targeting senior decision-makers.
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn automation tools (Dux-Soup, Expandi, Waalaxy, or similar).
- Strong copywriting and personalization skills for executive-level outreach.
- Experience working with marketing teams on account-based demand generation.
- Familiarity with enrichment and enablement tools (Apollo, PhantomBuster, SalesQL).
- Track record of managing complex sales cycles with executive stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling into public companies (TSXV, CSE, OTCQB, NASDAQ, etc.).
- Familiarity with investor relations, capital markets, or compliance.
- Startup/early-stage company background.
- CRM and campaign reporting proficiency.
