Summary Of Position
The Director of Demand Generation and Marketing Operations at Verisma is responsible for leading integrated marketing programs that generate qualified pipeline and support business growth. This individual owns the strategy and execution of promotional efforts across key channels including email (Marketo), website (WordPress), digital advertising, and content syndication, ensuring consistent coverage across Verisma’s full product portfolio.
The role requires strong cross-functional coordination with Sales, Product, and Content teams, and alignment with the Vice President of Marketing and executive leadership. The Director manages campaign strategy and execution, external agency partners, and marketing technologies including Marketo and Salesforce. They lead reporting and attribution efforts to communicate performance and impact to revenue and collaborate with internal client teams to execute and manage the Net Promoter Score (NPS) program. This leader must bring clarity, momentum, and influence to every initiative, ensuring that marketing programs launch successfully and deliver measurable impact across the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Integrated Campaign Strategy and Execution
- Own strategy and execution of promotional efforts across email, paid media, website, and syndication
- Lead always-on campaigns that drive consistent MQL volume and pipeline contribution
- Align messaging with product launches, market trends, and buyer personas
- Partner with Sales and BDRs to support outbound prospecting with targeted campaigns and content
- Leverage member benefits from CHIME, Sequoia Project, AAOE, and other organizations to expand reach
- Optimize digital campaigns and website content for SEO and conversion
- Manage external agencies supporting demand generation and productivity
- Lead Lifecycle and Funnel Optimization
- Build and manage lead nurturing programs to accelerate conversion
- Own lead scoring and intent models to prioritize sales engagement
- Manage lead routing processes to ensure timely and accurate handoff to Sales
- Monitor funnel performance and continuously refine programs to improve efficiency
- Marketing Operations and Technology
- Oversee marketing operations including platform integrations, data hygiene, and process optimization
- Manage campaign execution, segmentation, and automation in Marketo
- Ensure seamless lead flow and reporting through Salesforce
- Evaluate and manage martech stack and vendor relationships
- Performance Measurement and Insights
- Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks to communicate marketing impact to executive leadership
- Implement attribution models to measure channel effectiveness and campaign ROI
- Use data to inform strategy, optimize performance, and align cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with internal client teams to execute and manage the Net Promoter Score (NPS) program
- Strategic Collaboration and Leadership
- Work closely with Sales, Product, and Content teams to align marketing efforts with business priorities
- Support go-to-market planning and campaign enablement for new solutions
- Ensure executive visibility and alignment across marketing initiatives
- Act as a strategic partner and influencer to drive programs that deliver measurable business outcomes
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
- 5 - 10 years’ experience in demand generation leadership, with a focus on healthcare IT and B2B environments.
- Proven experience in marketing operations and proficiency in marketing automation tools (Marketo, Salesforce)
- Demonstrated success in building and optimizing lead nurturing, scoring, and custom intent programs.
- Experience managing external marketing agencies and vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in campaign performance analysis, attribution modeling, and executive-level reporting.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies and positioning.
- Strong analytical, communication and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to travel up to 15%
