Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Social Media Marketing Manager. The Social Media Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, creating and managing content, optimizing social media accounts, and driving engagement across all platforms. Additionally, the role will involve collaborating with the marketing team to implement digital marketing campaigns and ensure brand consistency.
Qualifications
- Experience in Social Media Marketing, Social Media Optimization (SMO), and Content Strategy
- Strong Communication skills
- Proficiency in Digital Marketing techniques and tools
- Proven ability to create, manage, and optimize engaging social media content
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
What you bring
- 5+ years running social for consumer brands, with 2+ successful product/brand launches you can prove with results.
- Real understanding of Gen Z culture and platform mechanics—what earns watch time, saves, and shares.
- Hands‑on short‑form video skills (scripting, on‑camera or directing talent, editing in CapCut/Adobe).
- Performance mindset: UTMs, GA, testing frameworks, and iterating based on data.
- Creator economy fluency and strong copywriting.
- Operational discipline: calendars, briefs, QA, post‑mortems.
- Comfort working with Legal/Compliance without losing speed.
What you’ll do
- Own Verde’s social presence end‑to‑end—strategy, creation, publishing, and optimization.
- Plan and execute go‑to‑market campaigns for new product and brand launches across TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts, and more.
- Create daily short‑form content yourself (brief, shoot, edit, publish).
- Build and run creator/influencer programs: sourcing, contracts, briefs, compliance, and performance.
- Grow and manage community (comments/DMs/social care) with tight SLAs.
- Define channel KPIs, build dashboards, and tie social to signups, CAC, and product adoption.
- Partner with Brand/Design, Product Marketing, Growth, Data, and Compliance (we’re fintech—accuracy matters).
