We’re Hiring! a Backend Software Engineer at Verbio 🌍

This is a fully remote role, open only to candidates residing in Spain (preferred) or any EU member state.

At Verbio, we are shaping the future of Human-Machine communication through AI-powered speech technologies. Our solutions include Speech Recognition, Text-to-Speech, Natural Language Understanding, and Virtual Assistants, enabling seamless voice interactions across industries.

We’re looking for a Backend Software Engineer to help develop Speech Center, our cloud-based platform for AI-driven voice assistants that engage in natural conversations over the phone.

🎯 What you’ll do:

✅ Develop and optimize the core components of our cloud technology.

✅ Build and maintain AI-powered cloud services and APIs.

✅ Ensure high performance, scalability, and efficiency in our systems.

✅ Work with AI researchers and engineers to integrate ML models into production.

✅ Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

💡 Our Tech Stack:

🔹 Languages: Python, C++, Rust

🔹 Backend: REST APIs, gRPC, WebSockets

🔹 Infrastructure: Docker, Linux, GitLab CI/CD

🔹 Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL

🔹 AI/ML: PyTorch, ONNX

👨‍💻 What we’re looking for:

✔️ 5+ years of experience in Python, C++, or Rust.

✔️ 2+ years working with REST APIs, WebSockets or gRPC.

✔️ Expertise in Scalable AI-Integrated Backends.

✔️ Experiencie with cloud deployments (ideally AWS).

✔️ Experience with Docker, Linux, and CI/CD tools.

✔️ Passion for high-quality code, automation, and continuous improvement.

✔️ Versatile in DevOps Practices.

✔️ English B2+ (you’ll work in an international team).
