Software Engineer

Venture Search are proud to partner with a newly launched, fast-growing High-Frequency Prop Trading firm. Joining our core technology team means you’ll help shape the next generation of our trading platform and have a direct impact on the technical direction of the company.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance trading systems in C++
• Build and tune low-latency, high-throughput applications within a server–client architecture
• Solve complex networking and infrastructure challenges across the full stack
• Contribute to internal tooling and automation (primarily in Python)
• Participate in creating internal GUIs and visualization tools
• Drive independent problem-solving and bring forward innovative ideas

What We’re Looking For

• 2–3 years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in C++
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• A proactive, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

Nice to Have (Highly Valued but Not Required)

• Knowledge of networking concepts and network protocols
• Experience with low-latency or performance-critical systems
• Familiarity with Linux development environments
• Background in server–client architectures
• Python experience and proficiency in additional programming languages
• Exposure to AI development tools and workflows
• Experience building GUIs
