Role Overview:

We are seeking a Lead Product Designer to lead the design direction of both Bidsale™'s customer and B2B apps. This part-time, remote role requires 15-20 hours per week and offers the opportunity to take ownership of the entire design process—from ideation to final implementation. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with engineers, product managers, UX researchers, and other stakeholders to create exceptional user experiences for our web and mobile applications.

As the Lead Product Designer, you will hire and develop the best talent in UX design, UI design, UX research, and beta testing, while driving the design strategy for Bidsale™. You’ll be responsible for designing multiple versions of web and mobile prototypes, liaising with cross-functional teams to improve user interactions, and ensuring that our designs are aligned with user needs. You will also test and iterate on coded versions of the product using Vercel during the testing and production phases.

Beyond design work, you will play a key role in promoting VendueTech and Bidsale™ on social media, building a community around your work and fostering engagement with both B2B and end-user customers. Additionally, you will be expected to present your prototypes and design processes to sales managers, sales and marketing VPs, prospects, and customers during meetings, calls, and webinars.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design direction for both customer-facing and B2B Bidsale™ apps.
• Hire and develop top talent in UX design, UI design, UX research, and beta testing to build a high-performing design team.
• Create multiple versions of web and mobile app prototypes to explore design possibilities and validate user interactions.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams, including back-end engineers, front-end engineers, product managers, data analysts, content creators, and marketing professionals to ensure seamless design implementation.
• Suggest and implement improvements to micro-products, user interactions, and in-app behaviors. Turn those suggestions into actionable Figma prototypes.
• Ensure quality and usability by testing and verifying design implementation in Vercel, iterating on the coded version during both the testing and production phases.
• Present your prototypes and design process to sales managers, sales and marketing VPs, and prospects during meetings and customer calls.
• Present your design process and work during webinars, showcasing how your designs align with the product strategy and solving customer pain points.
• Promote Bidsale™ and VendueTech on social media to build and engage a community around your work, fostering interest and growth for our products.
• Develop and maintain a design system that ensures consistency and scalability across all product touchpoints.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Product Designer, UX/UI Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered designs.
• Expertise in UX/UI design, including a solid understanding of user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
• Extensive experience in Figma for creating prototypes and designing interactive interfaces.
• Strong communication skills to present prototypes and explain design decisions to stakeholders and customers.
• Experience in designing for web and mobile applications, with a focus on creating seamless user experiences across multiple platforms.
• Strong understanding of user testing, iterative design, and feedback loops.
• Experience in Vercel, or similar platforms, to test and iterate on designs during development and production phases.
• Ability to balance hands-on design work with team leadership and strategic direction.
• Comfortable presenting your work to customers, stakeholders, and prospects during meetings, calls, and webinars.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in startups or equity-based compensation models.
• Knowledge or interest in AI, PropTech, distressed real estate, and public auctions.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and understanding of front-end development concepts (not mandatory but beneficial).
