This isn't a job. There's no boss, no set hours, no fixed salary. You set your rate, you choose your clients, and you decide how much you take on. Vendry handles the matching, the contracts, and the billing — so you can focus on the work.

What we're looking for

We're building a bench of operators who have hands-on experience using AI to drive real marketing outcomes. That could look like:

• Building AI-powered SEO or GEO systems that scale content and capture LLM-driven discovery
• Designing and deploying creative automation pipelines (ad generation, testing, iteration)
• Engineering AI-native GTM motions — lead scoring, enrichment, outbound sequencing using tools like Clay, Apollo, n8n
• Developing custom AI tooling for marketing teams: agents, workflows, internal copilots
• Implementing and optimizing marketing ops stacks (HubSpot, Salesforce, Klaviyo) with AI-augmented processes
• Running performance marketing with AI-assisted creative, bidding, and analytics

What this looks like in practice

• You'll be matched with Vendry brand clients who need your specific expertise — typically on monthly retainers

• Engagements are scoped and structured upfront so expectations are clear on both sides

• Vendry manages the client relationship overhead: contracts, billing, payment — you get paid reliably every month

• You keep 100% of your agreed rate. Vendry earns from the client side only

• Typical engagements run 10-40 hours per week depending on your availability and the client's needs

Who thrives in this network

• Independent consultants or fractional operators already working with multiple clients
• Former in-house marketers or marketing engineers who went out on their own
• Agency operators who want to take on select clients directly
• AI builders who sit at the intersection of marketing and engineering

You're self-directed, you communicate clearly, and you deliver without hand-holding. You've worked with at least a handful of clients or companies and have results you can point to.

Required

• 3+ years of marketing experience with demonstrable AI/automation work in the last 1-2 years
• Strong portfolio of systems, campaigns, or tools you've built — not just managed
• Proficiency in at least one core area: marketing ops, AI automation, performance marketing, SEO/GEO, analytics engineering, or AI GTM
• Fluent in English — you'll work directly with brand-side marketing leaders
• Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and communicate proactively with clients

Preferred

• Experience with tools like Clay, HubSpot, Salesforce, n8n, Zapier, GA4, Looker, Klaviyo, Apollo, or OpenAI API
• Comfort presenting work and results to senior marketing stakeholders
• Experience working across multiple clients simultaneously
• A point of view on where AI marketing is going — we want experts, not generalists
