Senior Software Engineer (LAMP)

We are looking for a full-time, remote Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of development experience solving complex technical problems using a combination of front-end, back-end, and full-stack technologies to join our U.S. client. The ideal candidate should have experience with server-side logic development, central database definition and maintenance, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests. The role will involve transforming UI / UX designs into functional HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The primary application stack is LAMP, which includes the latest version of PHP, MySQL, and Linux.

Our client provides integrated software and marketing solutions for the hospitality industry, specializing in short-term rental management. Their platform provides vacation rental companies with an enterprise-class Property Management System integrating booking, guest communications, and financial reporting systems - all built with partner organization integrations in mind.

Responsibilitie

• sBuild efficient, testable, and reusable PHP or JavaScript module
• sIdentify solutions to complex problem
• sSolve performance issues and architectural challenge
• sIntegrate data storage solutions like MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoD
• BEnsure that the code that you produce passes the SonarCloud quality rules for each pull reques
• tIntegrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developer
• sTranslate UI / UX designs and convert them into working HTML, CSS, and JavaScrip
• tAnalyze, configure, and tune the front-end web applicatio
• nBe a subject matter expert on web technologie
• sEnforce software development standards and mentor junior engineers in development best practice
