We invite a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join the VeliSports product team.

In this role you will:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to Design, Develop, Extend, Deploy and Support web service (API) applications written in ASP.NET & ASP.NET Core
- Utilize SQL Server or Postgres for database design, development, and maintenance
- Implement and optimise Memcached for caching data and improving application performance
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and team’s internal standards
- Debug, test, and fix issues in the codebase
- Participate in launching projects into production in the early stage, ensuring seamless deployment and monitoring for any potential issues
- Collaborate with other developers, designers, and product owners to deliver high-quality software.
- Create and maintain project documentation
- Periodically review the code base and suggest improvements
- Follow your direct manager’s and the PM’s instructions and attend teamwork meetings regularly
- Proficiency in self-management, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of projects
Skills and experience you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a proven equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in C# and .NET development
- Proficiency in Postgres, SQL Server or other RDBMS
- Experience with Memcached or other caching mechanisms
- Familiarity with Docker
- Experience with SignalR or any other socket server solutions
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Familiarity with Command-Line interactive tools (bash/zsh/cmd/Power Shell)
- Solid understanding of software development best practices
- Very good understanding of source version control flows (Git)
- Excellent researching, problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
- English language at least on the Professional Working Proficiency level
- Experience with GPM stack or alternatives
- Familiarity with AWS (EC2/ECS/S3/RDS/Route 53/Cloudwatch/ElastiCache/EC2 ALB/etc)
- Familiarity with CloudFlare
- Understanding of computer networking and knowledge of networking protocols
Will be a plus:
- Working experience in iGaming-related fields (especially sports book solution providers) will be a very big advantage
- Familiarity with other web frameworks and technologies (e.g., React, Angular)
- Understanding of microservice architecture
- Familiarity with Event Sourcing or Event queue systems
- Familiarity with protocol buffers
