Software Engineer

REQUIREMENT

Position: Software Engineer \ Data Engineer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 Months - 2 Years

Hourly Rate: DOE on w2/1099

Want someone who is very deep in PostgreSQL with some Java experience.

Not a DBA, but someone who can understand the product and refactor the data source changes.

Overall, 7-10 years of experience in the following:

• Spring Batch , or any batch framework
• PostgreSQL
• Java SpringBoot
• SQL, DB2

Required Skills and Experience

1. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
2. Hands-on experience with Spring Batch for batch processing applications.
3. Familiarity with containerization technologies, specifically Kubernetes and OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
4. Knowledge of ETL processes and tools for Data migration and transformation.
5. Experience with cloud database services, particularly Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL.
