Senior Marketing Analyst
Position Overview: We are seeking a data-driven Senior Marketing Analyst to join our Marketing Operations team. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing Strategy and Operations, this role is pivotal in transforming data into actionable insights, driving marketing strategies, and supporting business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, with a passion for leveraging advanced technologies, including AI/ML, to refine marketing efforts and optimize customer engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and business operations, to develop reports, dashboards, and strategies that inform and enhance decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze marketing and sales data to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that can drive strategic initiatives.
Develop, maintain, and refine dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Google Analytics, and Salesforce, providing stakeholders with visibility into marketing performance, ROI, and campaign effectiveness.
Utilize Marketo Measure (Bizible) to track multi-touch attribution, ensuring accurate assessment of marketing efforts across the customer journey.
Campaign Optimization & Performance Insights:
Work alongside marketing and sales teams to measure the performance of campaigns, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth.
Collaborate with Marketing Automation Manager to improve lead scoring, segmentation, and personalization, thereby enhancing the efficiency of marketing campaigns.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across campaigns and channels, providing data-driven recommendations to optimize marketing spend and drive higher ROI.
Support the creation of customer segments based on firmographic, technographic, and behavioral data to improve targeting and personalization.
Collaborate with Marketing Automation Manager to ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms.
Data Integrity & Process Improvement:
Assist in the adoption of data analytics best practices, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Maintain high standards of data quality and integrity, ensuring that marketing systems are optimized for accurate tracking and reporting.
Drive process improvements to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting, focusing on reducing inefficiencies and streamlining workflows.
Explore the integration of emerging technologies, including AI/ML, to enhance data analytics and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, or a similar role, with a strong background in using data to drive marketing strategies.
Proficiency in Tableau, Salesforce, Google Analytics is required.
Proficiency in marketing attribution and/or Marketo Measure (Bizible) preferred but not required
Hands-on experience with AI/ML applications for predictive analytics, lead scoring, and customer segmentation preferred but not required
Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and present clear, actionable insights.
Excellent proficiency in data visualization and storytelling, transforming raw data into impactful reports and presentations.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A keen interest in leveraging AI/ML applications to enhance marketing processes and drive efficiency.
