The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for developing computer programs and systems that align with user needs. This role will analyze requirements, design, write, troubleshoot, and review multiple systems and mentor junior computer programmers. To ensure success you should have in-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, client and server applications, databases, and internet technology skills.

Responsibilities:

Drives enhancements, implementations, testing, delivery, and operation of VAS computer systems.
Maintain existing applications to ensure service level agreements.
Works directly with management to analyze and decompose complex requirements.
Drives team commitments to successful delivery.
Works closely with system analysts to ensure our implementations to meet long-term enterprise growth needs.
Collaborates with staff to improve current systems’ processes and performance.
Oversees the maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.
Provide exceptional and timely customer support as needed.
Drive adoption and implementation of formal processes to support the product development process.
Follow best practices to develop and document system design and quality procedures.
Shares key performance indicators and technical reports with management for all VAS computer applications.

Requirements:

10+ years of professional Delphi development experience.
Strong skills in refactoring and modernizing legacy codebases.
Solid SQL knowledge and experience.
Familiarity with GitHub and Jira in a team-based workflow environment (preferred).
Experience with DevExpress components, TMS controls, TCP/IP networking, and REST APIs is highly desirable.
Prior work with frameworks enabling web development using Delphi is a strong advantage.
FinalBuilder experience is a plus.
Knowledge of or experience with C# programming is beneficial.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a collaborative team player.
