JOB DESCRIPTION

The Web Developer will work as a critical member of an extremely fast paced marketing team. This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Company’s web properties, backend support and development of applications supporting these properties, as well as other business initiatives.

The ideal candidate must display excellent communication skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organization abilities. A candidate for this position must be able to work in a varied, fast-paced environment. Flexibility is a necessity. U.S. Residence Only

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new web applications through packaged and customized applications.
• Maintain and enhance existing web applications and all integrated internal systems.
• Perform complete testing of Web applications–unit and system.
• Work with business users to create templates for rapid page development.
• Development of email templates for customer communication.
• Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and to learn.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 to 5 years experience in web technologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Development experience with mark-up HMTL.
• Experience with LAMP environment, SveltKit (or headless website development), and WordPress.
• Experience working with web services.
• Working knowledge of code management tools.
• Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.
• Working knowledge of technical SEO best practices.
• Working knowledge of accessibility and usability best practices.
• Mobile Application development experience.
• Understanding of SOA/SaaS concepts.
