BIM Engineer II
Are you passionate about collaborating in a team environment? Do you enjoy providing a new perspective to improve products, services, and processes? Are you excited about the impact of technology in the built environment and the opportunity technology systems offer to positively impact education, healthcare, corporate and civic buildings, and the user communities that occupy them? Are you currently working in or interested in entering the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) field?
Vantage Technology Consulting Group is seeking candidates for a full-time BIM Engineer II position to join our Design and Engineering team. As a BIM Engineer II, you’ll bring client visions to life through exceptional building information modeling that drives every stage of design and construction. We are looking for an applicant who has a strong interest in BIM and is experienced with low voltage technology, such as information technology, structured cabling solutions (IT), Audio Visual (AV), healthcare systems, and security infrastructure.
What You Will Do
As a BIM Engineer II at Vantage, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality technology design solutions across a range of projects. You’ll apply Vantage’s BIM standards to ensure consistency and excellence in our models and drawings, collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to bring technology systems to life.
In this role, you’ll balance precision with collaboration, taking ownership of drafting and modeling responsibilities while also contributing to team workflows, quality assurance, and client deliverables. You’ll be deeply involved in the production of construction documents and will help maintain the integrity of our Revit and AutoCAD models throughout the project lifecycle. This includes:
· Own the creation, management, and accuracy of BIM models (primarily Revit) for assigned projects from schematic design through construction documentation.
· Work independently and as part of remote project teams to turn technical markups into clean, consistent, and construction-ready documentation.
· Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts to validate design intent and coordinate model development.
· Adhere to and help enforce Vantage BIM and drafting standards, ensuring clarity and consistency across deliverables.
· Track progress against the BIM Execution Plan, meet project deadlines, and prepare drawing sets and PDFs for client submission.
· Contribute to the internal development of BIM content, tools, and workflows that make our work better and faster.
· Participate in virtual client coordination meetings as needed.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, enjoys solving problems through design, and is excited to grow with a firm that’s shaping the future of how people interact with technology in the built environment.
