Senior Software Engineer:

Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and delivery of high-volume, mission-critical web applications. This role requires a full-stack developer comfortable with both front-end and back-end programming, adept at collaborating in Agile environments, and committed to producing quality solutions on time. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

This role is fully remote. Candidates must be located in the following states: AZ, DC, FL, IL, KS, MO, NY, NC, OH, OR, TN, MD, NJ, SC, VA, WA, AL, CO, CT, DE, GA, ID, IN, KY, LA, MA, MI, MN, NV, OK, PA, TX, UT, or WI.

Senior Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications using technologies such as ASP.NET MVC, AngularJS, Web API, and SQL Server.
• Collaborate in an Agile Scrum environment across all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Participate in technical design discussions, identifying potential performance or architectural challenges and recommending solutions.
• Mentor and provide guidance to other developers, sharing expertise and promoting best practices.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and analysts, to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
• Proactively manage workload, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver high-quality code within established timelines.

Senior Software Engineer Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience developing software with C# and .NET, including work with .NET 4.8 or newer.
• 3+ years developing web applications using ASP.NET; MVC framework experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with AngularJS and familiarity with additional client-side frameworks such as React is a plus.
• Experience with SQL Server, including writing queries and working with multi-tier architectures; Entity Framework knowledge is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Web API and knowledge of load-balancing concepts is desirable.
• Background working in Agile/Scrum environments with a strong understanding of SDLC processes.
• Exceptional problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; advanced degree or additional certifications are preferred for senior-level consideration.
