This team works on a wide variety of complex issues. Our analysts use their research skills, expertise, and analytic tradecraft to discern threats beyond our client’s radar, helping to build strategic threat awareness across their organization. We work collaboratively in pursuit of accurate, insightful analysis. Valens’ products provide value to multiple stakeholders, including field officers, agency analysts, and senior leaders. We constantly refine our procedures and analytic toolkit to ensure we always deliver products that have strategic and operational relevance for our client.

**
Key Responsibilities:**

• Create graphic designs that visually communicate desired project messages. Designs may be used in various visual media including magazines, billboards, advertising, certifications, product packaging, etc
• Create various layouts, iconography, package designs, website designs, logos, and illustrations according to the organization’s specifications
• Meet with team members to discuss requirements and the design of the project
• Create rough drafts and sketches of concept and present to team members/stakeholders for further discussion and revision
• Participate in collaborative revision and approval process until final design is approved

Minimum Qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship
• Eligible for a TS
• Please provide any schooling experience/certifications needed
• Highly experienced in Adobe Creative Suite with a strong emphasis on Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of an Associate degree in Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) but prefer a Bachelor’s degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) or the working equivalent of 5+ years in graphic design.
