About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Digital Marketer to lead SEO initiatives (both onsite as well as off-site), backlink outreach & high-quality link building, content marketing, and website optimization. This role is critical in enhancing our online visibility, driving organic traffic, and building partnerships to strengthen our digital presence and brand awareness.
You will report to a Senior Marketing manager and collaborate with a website developer, but are expected to take full ownership of on-site and off-site SEO, scaling backlinks generation via partnerships and email outreach, and improving overall website performance.
Success in this role means focusing on both numbers and quality including improving rankings, driving meaningful traffic, and ensuring content and backlinks contribute to lead generation. You should be comfortable tracking key metrics, analyzing data, and iterating strategies based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Outreach & Backlink Generation:
- Build and execute a creative backlink acquisition strategy, including high-authority linkbuilding, guest blogging, listicles, and vendor partnerships.
- Monitor and manage backlink profiles, ensuring a strong and diverse link-building strategy.
SEO & Website Management:
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and website traffic.
- Hands-on experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics to monitor website performance, track key metrics, and optimize accordingly.
- Conduct keyword research, on-page optimization, internal linking and technical SEO improvements.
- Regularly audit the website and implement fixes for SEO, speed, and user experience enhancements. You will have a web programmer to work with.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented on new and existing websites.
Content Marketing:
- Execute content strategies that align with SEO and business objectives.
- Personally create, and also collaborate with internal teams or freelancers to produce blog posts, articles, and other digital content.
- Optimize existing content for better rankings and user engagement.
- Plan and execute content distribution strategies for maximum reach and engagement.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SEO, outreach, and digital marketing.
- Strong expertise in Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.).
- Proven experience managing and optimizing websites for SEO performance.
- Strong understanding of backlink acquisition and outreach marketing strategies.
- Must have experience writing, publishing blogs.
- Ability to create and manage content that aligns with SEO and marketing goals.
- Excellent communication skills for outreach and partnership-building.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Looking for a self starter, willing to learn new tools and open to new ways of doing things by applying experiment and optimizing based on data approach.
- Speak and write fluent English
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience in SaaS company in a hands on digital marketing role
- Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Elementor
- Have used CRM platforms like HubSpot, Apollo
- Knowledge of paid search and social media marketing.
