UST is looking for a Senior Software Engineer proficient in Node + AWS, who will be a part of a software development team working on internal actuarial solution cloud platform. Can independently create API-based web applications from concept to finished product with a cloud-first emphasis using strong knowledge of general programming languages, frameworks, and deployment methodologies. Implements solutions for complicated or ambiguous technical problems.

· Designs, develops, tests, deploys, and supports API based systems focusing on industry best practices with a cloud-first emphasis.

· Implements timely decisions on complicated technical problems.

· Supports legacy systems while the new ones are being built for launch and adoption by the business.

· Seeks continuous quality improvements for supported systems.

What you need:

· 8+ years of software development experience

· Proficiency in multiple tools of the full stack covering frontend frameworks, databases, and deployments

AWS (Amazon Web Services, Serverless, Containerization)
Node.js
React
Relational/NoSQL database (Oracle, Postgres)
Terraform (Dev Ops, Jenkins, CI/CD)
SQL (Solid understanding of writing SQL)
C# (Code comprehension)
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
