We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to work on cutting-edge GenAI projects for one of our leading customers in the banking sector. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure and application components that power GenAI workloads on AWS. Collaborating closely with data scientists and MLOps engineers, you will operationalize GenAI solutions using modern DevOps practices and IaC principles.
Your main tasks and accountabilities will be:
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure to support production-grade GenAI workloads using services like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Bedrock, S3, SageMaker, and IAM.
- Develop Python-based reusable GenAI components, ensuring seamless integration with AWS services, efficient model invocation, logging, monitoring, and automated testing.
- Build and manage Terraform-based codebases to provision scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure for GenAI systems.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate code validation, testing, deployment, and post-deployment checks for GenAI services.
- Implement robust IAM policies and access controls for secure execution of GenAI workloads, adhering to enterprise standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, backend engineers, and DevOps specialists, to deliver high-performing, well-integrated GenAI services.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize GenAI workloads for performance, reliability, and cost using tools like AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, and custom logging solutions.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives, documentation of best practices, and reusable architecture patterns for GenAI use cases.
What do we expect from you?
- Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in similar roles.
- Expertise in AWS: Strong knowledge of services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SageMaker, Bedrock, and IAM, with a focus on Generative AI workloads.
- Python Proficiency: Advanced skills in Python for building, deploying, and managing reusable GenAI components, including unit testing and seamless AWS integration.
- IaC and Terraform Skills: In-depth experience designing and managing Terraform codebases for secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.
- CI/CD Experience: Proficiency with GitHub Actions for automating code testing, deployment, and monitoring workflows.
- Soft Skills: A collaborative team player who can work effectively in cross-functional teams; Takes ownership and delivers high-quality results; Strong bias for simplicity and clarity in solutions; Results-oriented with a commitment to delivering value.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Language: Fluent in English.
