- You'll create intuitive, end-to-end logistics experiences that help eliminate borders for buyers and sellers worldwide.

Responsibilities
- Quickly yet thoroughly create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to help define business and feature requirements via empirical online data, usability findings, market research, and proven UCD principles.
- Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in usability testing and interpreting analytics data using Omniture Site Catalyst.
- Present design work to the user experience team, product team, and Client's website executives for review and feedback
- Contribute to user interface design and development best practices and standards.
- Provide leadership in the area of ecommerce trends, web application design, and user interface innovations.
- 7+ years industry experience providing interaction design solutions for web and/or software applications.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
- Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
- Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, and Dreamweaver.
- A strong online portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
- Self-starter who is a customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic team player.
- Ability to work with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, or Flash highly desired.
Key Projects:
- Driving clarity and design decisions with engineering teams.
- A main booking experience – just like FEDEX at a freight level.
- Operator experience – monitoring tool – to monitor shipments and communicate with sellers. Many operations with Client so this tool is widely used.
- Internal planning tools – business team uses these dashboards to make informed decisions
Day to Day:
- Drive designs through user center design process
- Mostly working with cross functional teams to align on a vision of a project
- Design Production work to create mock ups and other artifacts (user journey diagrams, workflow diagrams)
- Opportunities to do a bit of research (user validation)
- Looking for a UX designer who is a bit of a generalist that can help with all aspects
- Day to day also depends on where they are in the design process (documenting and articulating design decisions, providing mock up artifacts for engineering to work off, or ideation phase where they are bringing cross functional teams together to understand the direction of the design)
Year of Experience:
- 7+ years industry experience providing interaction design solutions for web and/or software applications.
- FOCUS ON FIGMA
Degree’s/Cert:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
Portfolio:
- Looking for enterprise scaled level
- More complex tooling (business to business)
- Content: really strong performative work, dive deep into processes, technical/product constraints, complex domain and articulate the domain.
- Being able to articulate complex workflows
- End to end product lifecycle
