USH is seeking an experienced Senior Social Media Manager to strengthen and evolve our brand communications capabilities across our healthcare brands, with primary accountability for Bryn Mawr Communications (BMC). This role is responsible for developing high-quality content across social channels, improving content performance, and ensuring brand communications meaningfully support audience engagement, client satisfaction, and product value.
The Senior Social Media Manager will sit within the Editorial team and will work closely with Marketing and cross-functional partners to execute an organic, relevant, performance-informed brand communications strategy.
What a day in the life of Senior Social Media Manager looks like:
- Own and evolve brand communications strategy for BMC, with a strong emphasis on social content performance and audience engagement
- Drive meaningful engagement with healthcare professionals and audience
- Translate brand priorities and editorial direction into effective, channel-appropriate messaging and content plans
- Oversee creation of platform-optimized content including: Static posts, carousels, short-form video, stories, and live content
- Partner closely with BMC Editorial teams to support social execution and ensure alignment between editorial strategy and brand communications goals
- Analyze performance across social and owned channels, using data and insights to optimize content, cadence, and messaging
- Establish and refine workflows that leverage AI-supported tools to improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency
- Collaborate with Marketing partners to align brand communications with SEO, organic traffic, and broader demand-generation efforts
- Contribute to brand governance by ensuring tone, voice, and positioning are consistent across channels
What we expect from qualified candidates:
- We are a hybrid work environment, and expect employees to work on-location at our Fort Washington, PA office 3 days per week when local. If the candidate is not local, they may be required to come in to the office periodically for team meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in brand communications, content strategy, or social media management, preferably in healthcare, media, or B2B environments
- Demonstrated experience improving social or owned-channel performance through data-informed decision-making
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and platforms
- Experience working cross-functionally with editorial, marketing, and product teams
- Comfort leveraging AI tools and modern content workflows to enhance productivity and effectiveness
- Highly organized, strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
