About the Role
We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager (Product Manager III) to own and grow Urbint’s EP&R (Emergency Preparedness and Response) Product—one of our most critical solutions focused on helping our customers plan and respond to severe weather events. In this role, you will own the product roadmap, work closely with stakeholders, and ensure customer needs are translated into scalable, intelligent solutions. While you won’t directly manage engineers or designers, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally with teams to deliver impactful outcomes. This position requires travel within the U.S. and Canada for customer engagements, internal team meetings, and industry events.
Preferred Location: US (Houston, Atlanta, Columbus, Tampa) or GTA Canada
Job Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
● Experience in utility operations, oil & gas construction, or environmental health & safety.
● Familiarity with field operations, construction safety, or operational risk management.
● Experience integrating with third-party enterprise systems and partners.
● Proven experience in developing and deploying mobile applications for field operations across smartphone and tablet platforms.
Job Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
● Own the EP&R product: Define the roadmap, maintain a well-prioritized backlog, and manage release plans in alignment with company goals.
● Understand customer needs: Engage with customers and internal experts to deeply understand field safety challenges in utility, energy, and construction environments.
● Validate solutions: Lead discovery work through interviews, prototyping, and experimentation to identify and validate solutions quickly.
● Write clear product requirements: Define user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria to support smooth delivery by engineering and design.
● Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with product strategists, engineers, designers, and implementation leads to bring solutions to life. While not directly managing these functions, you’ll play a critical role in alignment and communication.
● Support go-to-market: Partner with Product Marketing and Sales to position the product, define messaging, and support customer engagements.
● Track performance: Use data to monitor product adoption, outcomes, and feedback—and adjust direction as needed.
● Champion customer impact: Bring empathy, urgency, and insight to ensure Urbint delivers technology that makes a real difference on the ground.
Who You Are
● Experienced in domain + product: 5+ years of experience in product management, Working within Vertical B2B SaaS, serving Enterprise level customers. (required)
● Customer-centered: Skilled at engaging with field teams and business stakeholders, turning complex needs into usable, scalable software solutions.
● Technically comfortable: You don’t need to code, but you’re fluent enough in AI/ML concepts, integrations, and data to collaborate effectively with engineering and data science teams.
● Clear communicator: Able to write compelling product requirements and explain decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
● Detail-oriented and organized: You keep priorities focused, dependencies tracked, and teams aligned without needing to lead them directly.
● Adaptable and proactive: Comfortable in a startup environment where roles flex, and processes evolve—you’re resourceful, self-starting, and resilient.
