Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Product Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving products while ensuring they meet quality standards and customer requirements. This role requires a strong background in mechanical engineering, manufacturing processes, and project management to drive continuous improvement initiatives within our production environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new products using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, and AutoCAD.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in product design or manufacturing processes and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project scheduling aligns with production timelines and customer expectations.
- Utilize knowledge of plastics injection molding, CNC programming, and welding techniques to enhance product functionality and manufacturability.
- Program robots for automated assembly processes and ensure proper integration with existing manufacturing systems.
- Create and interpret schematics for industrial equipment and tooling used in the production process.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
- Participate in the development of vision inspection systems to maintain quality control standards throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing manufacturing data and suggesting enhancements to existing processes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards in all engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in product engineering within a manufacturing environment, particularly with factory experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in industrial engineering, process engineering, and robotics.
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is essential.
- Experience with CAM programming for CNC machines is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to drive projects forward independently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.

Pay: $90,909.55 - $109,482.48 per year
