Job Title: Shopify Developer (Direct Hire - FTE)

Location: 100% Remote

Must Have: Strong portfolio of Shopify sites

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Shopify Developer to enhance and maintain the online storefront for a rapid growth direct-to-consumer E-commerce brand. This role reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer and will collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to develop custom themes, optimize performance, and integrate third-party apps.

Responsibilities:

• Build and customize Shopify themes to create an engaging user experience.
• Implement third-party apps and API integrations to extend store functionality.
• Ensure smooth performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for speed and SEO.
• Maintain and update the site to support new product launches and marketing initiatives.
• Conduct testing to ensure compatibility across devices and browsers.
• Stay current with Shopify trends, updates, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven Shopify development experience with a strong portfolio of Shopify sites.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
• Familiarity with Shopify APIs, app integrations, and webhooks.
• Strong grasp of UX/UI principles and E-commerce best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize performance.
• Experience working cross-functionally with marketing and design teams.
• Version control knowledge (Git) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Shopify Plus and advanced customizations.
• Background in personal care or wellness products.
• Familiarity with international E-commerce and localization within Shopify app development.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics and E-commerce tracking.
• Background in a fast-paced digital-first environment.
