Senior Software Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join their expanding team. In this role, you will design and implement application solutions on Azure and AI platforms, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and drive technical decision-making to ensure the successful execution of projects.

You will be responsible for developing architectures, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), pilots, and optimizing cloud-based applications while integrating AI-driven capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Translate functional requirements into technical blueprints and oversee solution implementations.
• Create architecture diagrams, solution blueprints, and estimates, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Engineer AI-powered solutions by integrating applications with Azure AI services (e.g., Cognitive Search, OpenAI).
• Guide internal teams and customers on technical aspects of solutions, tools, and best practices.
• Develop and test PoCs and pilots, write documentation, and configure CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Work closely with IT teams, leadership, and customers to ensure seamless project execution.

Technical Knowledge

• Mandatory: Architecture design, C# NET, Azure PaaS offerings (APIM, Functions, Web Apps, Storage), Azure Cognitive Services (Azure Al search, OCR, or Vision...), Azure DevOps Pipelines or equivalent.
• ⁠Nice to have: Azure OpenAl, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Generative AI LLMs (GPT-4, BERT, LLaMA, Mistral)
• Certifications: (AZ-900, AZ-204, AZ-300, AZ-400, DP-900, Al-102...).

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience working with the Microsoft application stack, including experience as an Azure Architect in consulting.
• Strong understanding of Azure cloud platforms, AI services, and modern software development.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) and technical documentation.
• Expertise in AI & Prompt Engineering techniques for integrating generative AI into solutions.
• Fluent in English (native or near-native level). Portuguese and/or French are nice to have

Nice to have:

• ⁠Experience implementing Al solutions that leverage the RAG pattern.
• ⁠Experience with Azure Open Al / any Generative Al technology such as Generative Pre-trained Transformer (GPT) is a real plus.
