Job Description:
We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven, and creative Digital Marketing Specialist with a focus on email and SMS marketing. In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning, creating, testing, and optimizing campaigns (10-20 plus campaigns a month) that drive engagement, retention, and conversions across email and text message channels.
About the Role/Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and execute email and SMS marketing strategies to support product launches, promotions, and customer journeys.
- Build, test, and optimize automated workflows (e.g., welcome series, abandoned cart, re-engagement)
- Write and/or hire stellar content writers, design, and schedule high-converting campaigns, automations, and flows.
- Segment audiences based on behavior, demographics, and engagement to deliver personalized experiences.
- Collaborate with content, design, and product contractors to align messaging and creative.
- A/B test subject lines, content, CTAs, and sending times to maximize performance.
- Monitor and report on campaign metrics: open rates, CTR, conversion, unsubscribe, etc.
- Maintain compliance with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and industry best practices.
- Manage and optimize marketing tools/platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or similar.

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on email and/or SMS campaigns.
- Ability to create sales pages in ThriveCart
- Use Project Management Software such as Monday
- Work with the owner to develop Monthly, Quarterly, and annual campaigns
- Hands-on experience with ESPs (Email Service Providers) and SMS platforms.
- Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, built-in ESP dashboards, etc.).
- Understanding of email deliverability, segmentation, compliance, and automation.
- Strong knowledge of segmentation, automation, and performance tracking
- Comfortable with campaign reporting and making data-driven recommendations
- Organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple campaigns and priorities
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bonus Points for:
- Experience in eCommerce or B2B services.
- Basic HTML/CSS for email editing.
- Familiarity with list hygiene and customer journey mapping.
- Strong copywriting skills with attention to tone, clarity, and conversion are nice to haves.
