The Opportunity

We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to create amazing user experiences. We

have an WPF application that requires UI improvements. The initial primary focus of the

role will be to modernize our icons, UI themes, and improve user experience and

interaction. The individual will work with our development and product teams. The role

will also support the analysis, planning and execution of a move to a web based application

in the long term.

This individual will be our first UI/UX hire and will help shape the direction of the role. They

will need to work independently and collaboratively in our remote organization.

Role Responsibilities

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product, development

and implementation teams.

• Shape process and incorporation of UI/UX into the SDLC process.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets, page

navigation buttons and search fields.

• Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and

look.

• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness).
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.

About you:

• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
• Experience working with WPF applications or similar. C# experience is a plus.
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Ability to work independently, taking initiative to drive tasks forward and diligence

to complete work.

• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Good time-management skills.
• BSc in Design, Computer Science, or relevant field.
