We’re looking for a talented and driven early career Software Architect to join us as the third member of our team. This is a senior role with significant responsibility, equity, and the opportunity to shape the future of our product and company.

Job Responsibilities:

As the Product Architect, you will take on a leadership role in designing, building, and scaling our technology stack. This is not just a development role—it’s an opportunity to define the technical foundation of our product and ensure its long-term success.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Architecture
• Work closely with the founders, especially the lead data scientist/product manager, to align product goals, functionality, and features.
• Design and implement a modular, scalable, and maintainable architecture with clear separation of concerns.
• Make key decisions about code modularization, system integration, and long-term scalability.
• Development
• Overhaul and build upon our existing prototype to deliver a production-ready application.
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment.
• Establish a robust hosting solution, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Cursor) to enhance development efficiency and product capabilities.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies to ensure efficiency remains cutting-edge.

Requirement:

• We’re seeking a candidate who is ready to step into a higher-order role as a Software Architect, with a strong foundation in development and a vision for designing scalable systems. The ideal candidate will have:

• Technical Expertise:
• Proficiency in Python (Django), Next JS, Postgres SQL and GIS.
• Strong understanding of system design principles, including modularization, separation of concerns, and scalability.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker), cloud hosting platforms, and deploying production-ready web applications.
• Architectural Vision: Proven ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure architectures from the first line of code to a hosted production application.
• Collaboration and Communication: Ability to communicate efficiently, work independently, take ownership of tasks, and make decisions.
• AI Enthusiasm: Keeping up with and ready to lead the AI revolution, understands the importance of leveraging LLMs to improve development efficiency and product capabilities.
