Upcraft is a boutique WordPress development and marketing technology agency. We build fast, modern websites for B2B clients and support them with ongoing managed care. Our work sits at the intersection of clean design and real marketing performance - think conversion-focused landing pages, polished email templates, and brand-consistent web components.

The Role

We're looking for a sharp, senior-level digital designer to jump in on a part-time contract basis. You'll work directly with our team on a variety of digital design projects, mostly in the marketing and web space. We move quickly, communicate clearly, and expect the same.

What You'll Work On

• Email template design (HTML-ready layouts, ESP-friendly formats)
• Landing pages and website design comps
• Marketing collateral for clients across B2B industries
• Occasional UI components and web graphics

What We're Looking For

• 6-8 years of professional experience in digital design
• A portfolio that shows strong, clean marketing design... not just pretty visuals, but work that clearly serves a business goal
• Figma proficiency (this is non-negotiable in 2026)
• Solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Comfortable working async and communicating proactively
• Familiarity with email design constraints (Outlook rendering, mobile responsiveness, etc.) is a big plus
• Experience with AI design tools (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, etc.) is a plus but not required
• Agency experience a big plus!!

You're a Good Fit If...

• You can take a brief and run with it without hand-holding
• You hit deadlines and flag issues early
• You care about the why behind design decisions, not just aesthetics
• You're comfortable working with a small, remote team

Not a Fit If...

• You need a lot of direction and check-ins to get moving
• Your portfolio is mostly print or brand identity work with little digital/marketing focus

Compensation

Hourly rate, commensurate with experience. Please include your rate in your application.
