Goals, Objectives, and Scope of Work
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive incident resolution, front-end development, and system maintenance for multiple critical projects. This role requires collaboration with system engineers, liaisons, and key stakeholders to deliver innovative, scalable, and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Incident Management & System Maintenance
- Rapid Incident Resolution: Proactively address technical issues, ensure uninterrupted system functionality, and update knowledge base documentation.
- Performance Analytics & Optimization: Analyze incident trends, provide data-driven insights, and recommend system enhancements.
- System Upgrades & Security Compliance: Manage vended solution upgrades, implement security protocols, and oversee infrastructure updates, including servers, networks, and configurations.
- Minor Enhancements & Fixes: Process and prioritize intake requests, deploy fixes, and verify issue resolutions.
Front-End Development & Feature Enhancements
- React Migration & UI Modernization: Lead the migration from Java to React, focusing on an intuitive, responsive, and visually optimized interface using Storybook.
- Debugging & System Visibility: Develop a centralized debugging solution for HL7 processing, image/video linking, and ultrasound data capture.
- Interactive Education Platform: Build a training system for sonographers, enabling customized study configurations, performance tracking, and feedback mechanisms.
- System Recovery & Notifications: Implement real-time alerts for users about system impairments, their impact, and progress toward resolution.
Staffing Plan & Work Environment
- Location: Remote, US-based.
- Availability: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise
- Programming Languages & Frameworks: React, C#, JavaScript, Java.
- Enterprise Platforms: Microsoft SharePoint, ServiceNow.
- Development Best Practices: Agile methodologies, software lifecycle management, and user-friendly interface design.
Preferred Experience
- Industry Technologies & Compliance: Familiarity with healthcare technologies, HL7 standards, or similar clinical workflows is a plus.
- Incident Resolution & Troubleshooting: Proven ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- System Security & Upgrades: Experience with vended solution upgrades and security implementations.
