Summary

The Manager, Marketing Analytics will drive marketing performance and campaign analytics across the full spectrum of needs in the Olympic & Paralympic movement in the U.S., including initiatives from the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), LA28, Partners, athletes, and key peers. The role will be responsible for analyzing omnichannel marketing campaigns across owned social, paid media, and web/digital, translating performance data into strategic recommendations that drive engagement with our brands.

This role will work closely with other members on the Insights & Analytics team and will collaborate with various USOPC and LA28 functions (including but not limited to USOPC Marketing, LA28 Marketing, Partnership Marketing, Sales, Consumer Products, USOPC Fundraising/Development, LA28 Games Planning & Development, and NBC Insights).

The Manager, Marketing Analytics, will have a technical background but also serve as a strategic thought partner, ensuring that data-driven insights are accurate and actionable across a wide range of stakeholders. The individual will have demonstrated experience in campaign analytics, performance reporting, and data visualization. They will be skilled in interpreting the why behind the numbers—connecting marketing metrics to business objectives and crafting compelling stories from complex datasets. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker, collaborative partner, and self-starter with a structured mindset and a passion for uncovering insight in support of the Olympic & Paralympic Movement.

Duties & Responsibilities

Performance Analytics & Reporting

  • Oversee and optimize marketing campaign reporting across Team USA and LA28 social and digital touchpoints
  • Lead end-to-end analysis of omnichannel marketing campaigns, translating performance data into actionable insights that support brand engagement and fan growth objectives.
  • Own the vision and strategy for marketing analytics deliverables, ensuring outputs align with evolving stakeholder needs and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Develop queries to pull and analyze data across a range of campaign metrics and ad hoc performance analytics requests
  • Lead web analysis across Team USA and LA28 sites, evaluating digital performance and intersection with paid media and sign-ups to the fan email database
  • Provide in-depth analysis of paid media performance, evaluating effectiveness, spend efficiency, and ROI to inform media planning and optimization strategies.
  • Coordinate with agencies to ensure consistency in metrics, approach, and reporting guidelines

Stakeholder Collaboration & Team Leadership

  • Oversee the marketing analytics strategic roadmap on the road to Milan-Cortina, LA28 and beyond, collaborating with stakeholders on KPI development and reporting
  • Serve as the primary liaison for marketing analytics needs between the Insights team and key stakeholders across USOPC and LA28, understanding business needs and translating them into actionable insights
  • Drive marketing analytics reporting within the Insights & Analytics team, working closely with other team members across different pillars to ensure cohesive storytelling and analysis across different data sources.
  • Champion best practices in campaign measurement and performance reporting across the organization, guiding partners in how to use and interpret data effectively.

Minimum Qualifications Required

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, statistics or related field preferred; Master’s degree preferred

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, marketing technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience working with diverse marketing data sources across channels including but not limited to organic social media, web/digital, paid media, and email marketing; must demonstrate a strong understanding of the unique structures, limitations, and insights each channel provides, and the ability to synthesize them into a cohesive analytics strategy
  • Experience working with digital analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics and social analytics tools; Digital Tag Management systems a plus
  • Proficiency with SQL and/or other query languages and understanding of data warehouse environments. Ability to write complex queries, joins. Experience working with Microsoft Azure preferred
  • Proficiency with Tableau, or similar data visualization tools
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • A structured thought process with well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to resolve issues amid ambiguity
  • Demonstrated impact supporting integrated projects across multiple offices/time zones in a timely manner
