Hiring Company:
We are building the next-generation decentralized exchange (DEX) powered by a fully onchain order book architecture. Our mission is to combine the transparency and composability of DeFi with the speed and efficiency of traditional markets—without compromising on decentralization. If you’re passionate about smart contracts, Ethereum, and the future of programmable finance, we want you on board.
Role Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Ethereum Developer to join our core engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing smart contracts and infrastructure powering our onchain order book protocol. You’ll work closely with our founders, backend engineers, and auditors to ensure performance, robustness, and security at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Ethereum smart contracts (Solidity) to manage order book logic, settlement, matching, fees, and user interactions
- Collaborate on protocol architecture and system design, especially related to onchain matching engines, state updates, and gas optimization
- Integrate with frontend and backend teams to ensure seamless UX/UI and data handling
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests with frameworks like Hardhat or Foundry
- Participate in code reviews, audits, and formal verifications to maintain the highest security standards
- Optimize contract performance and gas efficiency for real-world DeFi usage
- Monitor and maintain deployed contracts and upgrades through proxies or immutable deployments
- Contribute to documentation, whitepapers, and open-source releases
Requirements
- Solid experience in Ethereum smart contract development (Solidity)
- Deep understanding of Ethereum’s EVM, gas model, and contract architecture patterns
- Experience working on or with DEXs, DeFi protocols, or financial primitives
- Understanding of order book mechanics and onchain trade settlement
- Strong grasp of security practices, testing strategies, and potential smart contract vulnerabilities
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
