We have a new and exclusive partnership with one of the most exciting scale-ups in Europe, who are looking to double in size their engineering team. They have a valuation exceeding 2 billion Euros.
The company builds aerial intelligence hardware and software. They're main focus is the manufacturing of UAV's. Alongside this, they are also developing bleeding edge software that provides actionable insights in defense, security and professional services.
The Team:
This engineering team are focusing on building a greenfield command and control center, designed specifically for unmanned systems.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and helping to grow a team of Embedded Linux Engineers. Currently a team of four.
- Take end-to-end technical ownership of our embedded Linux platforms, including BSP, kernel, drivers, device trees, and user-space components
- Partner closely with product management, hardware engineering, and other embedded software teams to align on goals and deliver integrated solutions
- Actively shape technology strategy, contribute to key architectural decisions, and drive our long-term platform roadmap
Experience you'll need:
- Multiple years of deep hands-on experience in embedded Linux development
- Expert-level knowledge in : Linux kernel internals, device tree configuration, and driver development. Modern build systems such as Yocto Project and/or Buildroot.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ (bonus: shell scripting, Python, or other scripting languages)
- Structured, results-driven mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
- Very good written and spoken English (German language skills are a strong advantage)
Nice to have:
- Experience working with drones or robotics
- experience working with microcontrollers
