We are fast growing e-commerce brand specializing in custom party supplies dedicated to creating impactful and memorable designs for our customers. We are looking for a visionary Art Director to lead our creative direction, elevate our brand identity, and oversee execution across print, digital, and product design.
Role Overview
As the Art Director, you will be responsible for guiding the creative process from concept to delivery while leading a team of 8–10 creative professionals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and operations to ensure all visual outputs align with brand strategy and deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a creative team of 8–10 designers and artists, ensuring productivity, growth, and creative excellence.
- Manage team workflow, assign projects, and balance workloads across multiple priorities.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide mentorship, and support professional development.
- Develop, maintain, and evolve the company’s brand identity across all channels.
- Oversee creation of marketing campaigns, packaging, product designs, digital ads, and social media assets.
- Translate business objectives into compelling creative strategies.
- Review and approve artwork, ensuring high-quality execution and consistency.
- Stay ahead of design trends, tools, and best practices to keep the brand fresh and innovative.
- Partner with leadership to forecast resource needs, manage budgets, and optimize processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or Art Director role.
- Proven experience managing a creative team of 8–10 people (or comparable).
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative range across branding, packaging, and digital assets.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to balance creative vision with business needs.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods branding.
- Knowledge of print production and packaging design.
- Familiarity with motion graphics, video editing, or 3D design is a plus.
