The role

We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Engineer who covers the whole distance between a product idea and shipped, production-quality UI. You can run discovery, shape the experience, design it properly in Figma, and then build it in code (or pair closely with the engineers who do). You will work embedded in a client team in Gothenburg, with Vynatix behind you.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end UX of features: research, flows, wireframes, high-fidelity design, prototypes and the implemented result
• Build and maintain design systems and component libraries that engineers actually use: tokens, variants, documentation
• Implement UI in a modern front-end stack and review UI code written by others
• Run usability tests and turn the findings into concrete design changes
• Act as the bridge between designers, product managers and engineers
• Hold the bar on accessibility (WCAG 2.2), performance and cross-platform consistency

What we are looking for

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in UI/UX design and front-end engineering, with a portfolio of shipped products
• Expert in Figma: auto layout, components, variables and prototyping
• Hands-on implementation skills in at least one modern UI stack: web (React, TypeScript, CSS), Android (Jetpack Compose, Kotlin) or iOS (SwiftUI)
• Experience building or maintaining a design system in production
• Strong grasp of interaction design, typography, layout, motion and accessibility
• Comfortable presenting work to stakeholders and backing decisions with evidence
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Based in Gothenburg, or ready to relocate (we support relocation)

Nice to have

• Automotive HMI or in-vehicle UI experience (Android Automotive OS, infotainment, driver displays)
• Design-to-code tooling and token pipelines (Figma Variables, Style Dictionary, AI-assisted design workflows)
• Motion design (Rive, Lottie, After Effects)
• Swedish
