We are looking for an Senior Product Designer based in India who is excited about working remotely for a Canadian company! You will serve a key role in developing a cutting-edge, innovative cloud-based platform that provides tools and services for managing a production pipeline for animation, games and VFX projects. #WorkFromHome

Job Title: Senior Product Designer (UI/UX)

Job Type: Full Time (100% Remote - India)

What You’ll Do:

Design intuitive workflows for complex systems such as production tracking, pipeline management, and community collaboration tools.
Conduct user research and gather feedback directly from studios to uncover pain points, validate design directions, and guide product decisions.
Translate complex creative workflows into clear, scalable UI/UX patterns that make day-to-day tasks simple for diverse users.
Manage and evolve our design system in Figma, maintaining visual and functional consistency across the platform.
Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality implementation and alignment between design intent and technical execution.
Advocate for user-centered design principles and ensure usability remains at the core of product decisions.
Communicate design rationale clearly and document design directions, user flows, and specifications for new features and improvements.
Prioritize effectively — balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints to deliver meaningful impact.

What You Need:

5+ years of hands-on UI/UX or Product Design experience, ideally with SaaS or creative production tools.
A portfolio that demonstrates user-centered design for complex, multi-user or workflow-driven products.
Deep expertise in Figma for design, prototyping, and collaboration.
A strong eye for visual design craft — skilled in layout, hierarchy, typography, and interaction details.
Solid understanding of responsive layouts, component-based design, and accessibility best practices.
Experience conducting user research, turning insights into actionable design outcomes.
Excellent communication skills — you can clearly articulate design choices and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, remote environment, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail.
A creative problem-solver who thrives in startup environments where innovation and ownership matter.

Nice To Have:

Experience designing tools or platforms for animation, media, or production workflows.
Familiarity with or interest in AI-assisted prototyping and design workflows.
Experience contributing to team processes, design culture, or documentation in a growing product organization.
