Social & Brand Marketing Manager Twisted Alchemy | Remote-Friendly | Full-Time or Contract Considered

About Twisted Alchemy Twisted Alchemy is a premium cold-pressed superfruit juice and cocktail mixer brand on a mission to elevate spirits and the people who drink them. We're Whole30 Approved, expanding rapidly across Whole Foods Market regions nationwide, and obsessed with flavor, wellness, and beautiful brand storytelling. This is a fast-moving, founder-led company where your work shows up on shelves, in feeds, and in people's fridges.

We're a small-but-mighty team. You will wear many hats, move fast, and see your work matter. If you love food and bev, wellness culture, and building brands from the inside out, keep reading.

About the Role We're looking for a Social & Brand Marketing Manager who is equal parts creative visionary and channel operator. You'll own our social presence end-to-end, drive email marketing, manage influencer relationships, and be the brand voice across all consumer-facing touchpoints. You also understand what it takes to win at retail: the activations, the collabs, the demos, the community moments that drive actual sell-through.

This is not a role for someone who just schedules posts. You're a branding maverick with a love for food, bev, and wellness. Someone who creates content as fluently as they strategize it, and who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment where initiative is everything.

What You'll Own

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Own and execute platform strategy across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, with an eye on what's emerging next
  • Create content: you can shoot, edit, write, and publish, not just brief others to do it. Reels, carousels, stories, and short-form video are your native language
  • Edit video content with ease using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or equivalent; create compelling Reels and short-form video that stop the scroll
  • Manage content calendars aligned with product launches, retail activations, seasonal campaigns, and brand moments
  • Write copy that sounds like us: vibrant, knowledgeable, a little irreverent, and always rooted in wellness and flavor
  • Recommend and manage social scheduling platform (e.g., Later, Planoly, or equivalent) for efficient publishing and analytics
  • Own community engagement: actively monitor brand mentions, comments, and conversations using social listening tools (e.g., Nectar AI or equivalent); respond, engage, and build the community with intention
  • Use social listening to surface UGC, identify brand advocates, and flag opportunities to amplify organic love for Twisted Alchemy
  • Monitor performance, pull insights, and adapt; you let the data inform, not override, your creative instincts
  • Experience with paid social (Meta, TikTok Ads, etc.) is a plus and will be leveraged where relevant

Email Marketing

  • Own and manage multiple email marketing channels end-to-end, from strategy and segmentation to creative and deployment
  • Churn out high-quality email creative consistently: product launches, retail promotions, seasonal campaigns, newsletters, and drip sequences
  • Work in Klaviyo or comparable platform; build flows, A/B test, and report on performance
  • Ensure brand voice and visual consistency across all email touchpoints

Influencer, Partnerships & Collaborations

  • Source, vet, negotiate, and manage influencer relationships, from nano creators to emerging voices in wellness, food, cocktail culture, and lifestyle
  • Leverage platforms like Aspire to post influencer campaigns that micro-influencers can opt into, building an always-on pipeline of authentic brand advocates without constant outreach
  • Develop creator briefs that result in authentic, on-brand content
  • Manage UGC pipeline and track ROI on influencer campaigns
  • Identify and drive brand collaborations, co-marketing partnerships, and cross-promotional programs that weave naturally into social and community channels
  • Build and maintain long-term ambassador relationships that grow with the brand

Brand Design & Creative Production

  • Design polished brand materials from scratch: in-store signage, shelf talkers, event banners, trade show displays, and promotional POS materials
  • Produce sales-enabling assets including sell sheets, one-pagers, pitch decks, and distributor materials that are visually compelling and on-brand
  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, ensuring visual consistency across all consumer-facing and trade-facing touchpoints
  • Create digital graphics for web, email, and paid/organic social, with a strong eye for layout, typography, and color
  • Move fluidly between Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); you're not dependent on a designer to execute

Retail Activation & Brand Programs

  • Support retail marketing initiatives including in-store demos, sampling programs, coupon activations, and experiential moments
  • Understand the Whole Foods Market shopper and ecosystem: what drives trial, loyalty, and repeat purchase at shelf
  • Contribute to trade marketing materials (sell sheets, retail decks, event collateral) that support retail and wholesale partners
  • Manage or support brand programs with an understanding of how events, community, and retail activations connect to social storytelling
  • Experience with CPG launch and retail expansion cycles is a significant plus; hospitality/wholesale background is a bonus

Who You Are

  • A digital native and self-starter who thrives without hand-holding; you see what needs to be done and you do it
  • Deeply versed in social platforms: you know the algorithm shifts, the format nuances, and what works on each channel right now
  • AI-forward: you use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and others to move faster and create smarter, not as a crutch, but as a multiplier
  • Fluent in social management and listening tools; familiarity with Aspire (influencer campaigns), Nectar AI (social listening/community), and scheduling platforms like Later or Planoly is a strong plus
  • A strong designer with real production chops; you can build a beautiful sell sheet, an in-store sign, or a social graphic without handing it off to someone else
  • Fluent in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); capable in video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)
  • A branding maverick with genuine love for food, beverage, and the wellness space; great design taste is non-negotiable here
  • Entrepreneurial: you think like a founder, move like a startup, and thrive when you're wearing multiple hats
  • An excellent communicator and collaborator; you work cross-functionally with leadership, sales, and external partners without dropping a ball
  • Experience with Klaviyo or comparable ESP and at least one social scheduling/analytics platform
  • CPG or natural food & bev experience is a strong plus; Whole Foods Market familiarity is a meaningful differentiator

Bonus Points For

  • Experience navigating retail launches and expansions in CPG

  • Background in hospitality, foodservice, or wholesale channels

  • Familiarity with Whole Foods Market/retail shopper programs, promotions, or retail media

  • Experience running or supporting brand demos, experiential activations, or field marketing

  • Hands-on experience with paid social campaigns across Meta, TikTok, or other platforms

  • Passion for non-alcoholic wellness, cocktail culture, or functional food & bev

Compensation & Structure Salary range: $60,000 to $80,000 depending on experience and scope. Contract/freelance engagements considered for the right candidate. Remote-friendly with availability expected during core business hours (CT).
