Join a dynamic software team dedicated to building robust, long-lasting tools as a part-time Supabase Integration Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating Supabase into ongoing projects, configuring databases, setting up access rules, optimizing queries, and designing efficient API layers. The role is remote and open exclusively to candidates based in the United States.

Deliverables

Integrate Supabase into existing and new software projects
Configure and optimize PostgreSQL databases within Supabase
Implement and manage Row Level Security (RLS) and access control policies
Design and build secure, scalable API layers for frontend and backend integration
Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure best practices and code quality
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as they arise
Document integration processes and technical decisions

Requirements

Proven experience deploying Supabase in production environments
Strong understanding of database schema design and PostgreSQL optimization
Expertise in implementing Row Level Security and access rules
Proficiency with React/Next.js (frontend) and Node.js or Python (backend)
Experience deploying applications via Vercel or similar platforms
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Must be based in the United States
Availability for 5–10 hours per week on a part-time, contract basis
